This place has been a family restaurant since 1927, when a family member from Greece opened up the original restaurant. They have a "Greek Day" the last Friday of every month.
The Red Rose restaurant has been owned and operated by the Flouras family for more than 80 years. It was established in 1927 by a family member from Greece, and relocated in the early 1930s to its present location at 101 E. King Street — a building once owned by President James Buchanan. Over the years, Red Rose has satisfied the public by adapting its menu and look to meet evolving local tastes.
